Gary
Forster is a Florida native practicing in all areas of business
transactions and tax matters, both in domestic and international. Gary
is a member of both the Florida and District of Columbia Bars,
including bar sections for international and tax lawyers. Gary is also
a member of the U.S. Tax Court. He is past Legal Advisor/Director of
the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Central Florida, as well as the
President and Director of the International Council of Central
Florida.
Gary earned an undergraduate degree from Tufts University, graduating
cum laude, with majors in Spanish Literature and Economics. He earned
his law degree at the University of Florida where he graduated with
honors. During law school, Gary was the Articles Editor of the Florida
Journal of International Law. Gary continued on in Gainesville for his
Masters in Taxation where he was a graduate fellow. His education also
includes studies at the University of Madrid, Oxford University and
Leiden University in the Netherlands.
Gary has written an article regarding International Taxation entitled
"Avoiding Conduit Financing Arrangements” which was published in the
Journal of Taxation of Investments. Gary lectures frequently on
international tax, corporate law and asset protection issues. Gary
speaks Spanish fluently and participates in various local and national
chambers of commerce.
Gary lives in Winter Park where he enjoys playing tennis in his free
time.
