Mark
Grimes earned his Juris Doctor degree from Boston College School of
Law in 1973. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History, and
graduated "Cum Laude," from Providence College in 1970.
Mark has considerable experience in title insurance law, having served
as underwriting counsel for Chicago Title Insurance Company and
Lawyers Title Insurance Company in Rhode Island, and for Attorneys’
Title Insurance Fund, Inc. in Florida. He has also served as
transactional counsel for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation,
and as counsel for the Florida Real Estate Commission. He has
extensive experience as a title examiner, and has spoken at numerous
title insurance seminars.
Mark is a member of the Florida Bar, Rhode Island Bar, and
Massachusetts Bar Associations. He is also a member of the Florida Bar
Association’s Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, and of the
Orange County Bar Association. He has previously served as Secretary
of the New England Land Title Association, and as President of the
Rhode Island Title Underwriters, Inc.
Mark resides in Lake Mary, Florida, with his wife Karen. They both are
originally from Newport, Rhode Island.
