Alex Chris Costopoulos
A
native Floridian, Alex Chris Costopoulos attended the University
of Florida on a National Merit Scholarship. He received his B.A.
in History, graduating cum laude in 1993. Mr. Costopoulos then
attended the University of Florida College of Law on a Law
Center Scholarship. He received his J.D. in 1996, again
graduating cum laude. While in Law School, he won the “book
awards” for Constitutional Law and for Political and Civil
Rights for being the top student in those classes.
Following graduation, Mr. Costopoulos first developed his
litigation skills working as a Prosecutor for the State
Attorney’s Office. In three and a half years, he litigated over
thirty-five jury trials and over twenty-five non-jury trials. In
2001, Mr. Costopoulos left the State and chose to focus his
practice on civil litigation with emphasis on commercial
litigation.
Mr. Costopoulos is admitted to both the Florida Bar and the
United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
He has spent his entire professional career in the Orlando area
and is active in the local community. He is a member of the
Orange County Bar Association and volunteers at his church.
