Eric C. Boughman
Eric
practices in commercial litigation and real estate law. He has
experience representing individuals and businesses in all phases
of business disputes including litigation, appeals, and
alternative dispute resolution in both state and federal court.
Eric has particular litigation experience in real estate,
landlord-tenant, and developer representation, as well as
general business-related litigation. Additionally, Eric’s
experience has included buyer and seller representation in the
purchase and sale of real property, landlord and tenant
representation in the negotiation and drafting of commercial
leases and amendments and developer representation in the
acquisition, conversion, and development of real property.
Before practicing law, Eric’s industry experience included
construction project management.
Eric graduated, magna cum laude, from the University of
Minnesota Law School. There, he argued before the Minnesota
Supreme Court as a Moot Court finalist and later served as that
program’s Managing Director. He also served as a student editor
for the Minnesota Practice Series Business Law Deskbook. Eric
earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland
while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. His military duty
included tours in Turkey and Saudi Arabia.
Eric is licensed to practice law in Florida and Nevada. He is a
member of the Florida Bar Association, the American Bar
Association, the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, and
the honor fraternity of Phi Kappa Phi. He has also been licensed
as a fitness trainer and high school football official.
Eric lives with his wife, Heather, and their two dogs in
Longwood. He is a fitness enthusiast and perpetual student of
history and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
