Robert MacDonald practices in the areas of estate planning, business law and real estate. He prepares wills and trusts and advises on estate, gift and generation skipping transfer taxes. Robert is knowledgeable about the full range of estate planning options including uses of revocable and irrevocable trusts, insurance trusts, living wills and durable powers of attorney. He has also represented clients in a wide variety of business matters including sales and acquisitions and business entity formations and governance. He advises on business succession strategies, tax issues, and tax planning and structuring for businesses and individuals.

Robert is a member of the Tax and the Real Property, Probate and Trust Sections of the Florida Bar. He is admitted as a member of the Tax Court and the Florida Bar. Robert earned his B.A. at the University of Florida and graduated with High Honors. He earned his law degree at the University of Florida where he was a member of the Law Review and graduated with Honors. He is a member of the Order of the Coif. Robert has also obtained his Masters in Taxation from the University of Florida.

Robert was raised in Central Florida and has practiced law there since 1981. He has been a lecturer on tax matters for various groups in the area including the Florida Institute of Public Accountants. He is or has been a member of a number of civic organizations including the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Urban League, Rotary and the St. Andrews Society. He lives in Maitland, Florida with his wife and four children.
