Stacy J. Borisov
Stacy J. Borisov practices in our Commercial Litigation
Department and is experienced in many fields of civil
litigation, including contract and business disputes, probate
and trust contests, slander and libel claims, real estate
litigation, and appeals at Florida’s District and Supreme Court
levels.
Stacy graduated magna cum laude from Kalamazoo College in
1997, receiving her Bachelor of Arts with a major in
International Area Studies and two minors in Political Science
and Russian Studies. Before attending law school, she taught
English at the graduate level of a university in Russia. She
received her law degree with high honors from the University of
Florida, where she was a member of the Florida Law Review,
received multiple Book Awards for achieving the highest score in
numerous courses, and graduated in the top 10% of her class.
Stacy also was selected to be a member of the Order of the Coif.
Stacy was a Staff Attorney to Justice Charles T. Wells of the
Supreme Court of Florida for two years following law school. She
then practiced for three years in the litigation department of a
well-respected Sarasota law firm, before moving to the Orlando
area and joining Pohl & Short.
Stacy grew up in Northern Indiana and Ft. Myers, Florida, where
her family still resides. She and her fiancé, Graham, live in
the St. Cloud area and enjoy boating on the many lakes there.
Stacy also loves to travel abroad.
